Sweatshirt, CD Packaging, Stickers, and Website for Pittsburgh based musician Paladin
Paladin is a indie-pop independent musician involved in the Pittsburgh DIY music scene. They needed a logo to include on their website, on their music packaging, and on merchandise.
I hand drew the lettering for their logo and incorporated a motif of bright yellow dandelions, a flower they reference in their new music. I also illustrated the graphic of a sword overgrown with dandelions to tie together the band name with the idea of a Paladin wielding that sword. I designed their Bandcamp website to include the dandelion and sparkle graphics that I included in the stickers to tie in the physical and digital presence of the band.
I digitally separated the colors in the sword graphic and logotype to physically screen print them onto the sleeves of the sweatshirts. I also dip dyed the sweatshirts to give it a yellow gradient that compliments the screen printed design. I dip dyed and screen printed matching t-shirts with the sword design on the back instead of the sleeves.
Light and dark jersey design for Hampton High School Ultimate Frisbee club team
Hampton High School was looking for fresh and exciting designs for jerseys for their ultimate frisbee club team, and I had a great time designing them. The students on the team were asked to brainstorm ideas that they wanted to incorporate in their jersey design, and the consensus included a colorful gradient and a starry sky.
I took the students' suggestions and landed on the light jersey design emulating a bright daytime sky and the dark jersey design emulating a nighttime sky. Since the team's colors are blue and yellow, I stuck to a white and light blue gradient for the light jersey and a dark blue and indigo-violet gradient for the dark jersey, adding details of white stars speckled on the darker sections of both designs. The jerseys were designed for full emulsion printing, and the official logo was provided by the club, as well as the school colors of blue and yellow.

Printed disc design for Stonewall Sports' first Ultimate Frisbee league in Pittsburgh
Stonewall Sports is a national organization that creates recreational sports leagues for the LGBTQ+ community. The Pittsburgh chapter was the first in the country to debut an ultimate frisbee league. I was honored to design the discs that were given out to every new player in the league.
I used the colors of the progressive LGBTQ+ flag to highlight the inclusivity of the league, not only for different sexual orientations but also different gender identities and racial backgrounds. Stonewall Ultimate Sports logo provided by the organization, including the city and establishing year. The color design behind the logo was created by me, as well as a deliverable compatible with printing specifications for Discraft custom discs.
